The Witte Enterprises Community Garden is a living expression of faith in action. Rooted in stewardship, service, and fellowship, our garden exists to nourish both body and spirit while bringing people together through shared purpose.
More than rows of plants, this garden is a place where seeds of hope are planted, relationships grow, and God’s provision is witnessed firsthand. Volunteers of all ages work side by side—preparing soil, planting, harvesting, and caring for the land God has entrusted to us. In doing so, we are reminded that growth takes patience, faith, and community.
The garden supports local needs by providing fresh produce for individuals and families, while also serving as a space for connection, prayer, and teaching. Just as Scripture reminds us that some plant and some water, but God gives the increase, every harvest is a testimony to His faithfulness.
Our Community Garden is grounded in biblical principles of stewardship and service. Scripture reminds us:
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.” — Psalm 126:5
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
As we tend the soil, we are also tending hearts—learning perseverance, gratitude, and trust in God’s timing. The garden becomes a living lesson in faith, patience, and obedience.
The Community Garden is also a hands-on learning space for children and youth. Young participants learn where food comes from, how to care for creation, and the importance of teamwork and service. Through planting, watering, and harvesting, they gain valuable life skills while being taught biblical truths about responsibility, generosity, and growth.
By involving the next generation, we are planting seeds not only in the ground, but in hearts that will carry faith forward.
Whether you have a green thumb or simply a willing heart, there is a place for you in the garden. Volunteers are welcome to help with planting, maintenance, harvesting, distribution, and prayer support.
Joining the Community Garden is a meaningful way to serve, connect, and be part of something that blesses others in tangible ways. Together, we cultivate the land, cultivate relationships, and cultivate faith—one seed at a time.
